i went to college at Campbellsville University. I was introduced to the light house by a couple of buddies of mine several years ago. Everytime that i go back to Campbellsville, I make it a point to go to the lighthouse.. this Place is "GREAT"

I was at your restaurant for the first time last evening 11/10/04. I had heard raves about your food and they were right. It was fantastic. I loved the ham, cole slaw and red eye gravy. I didn't notice ski on the menu then or I would have gotten it. I love it and it is not available here in Indiana or in Florida. I grew up in Greensburg where it was bottled and stock up on it every time I am in the area.
Thanks for a wonderful evening out. It WAS hard on the tummy to drive 150 miles back home though.

Have just returned from another good meal at the Lighthouse!! The Montgomery family from Green County goes about once a month and celebrates birthdays and special events there several times through the year. Going to the Lighthouse is a tradition with us going back to when the Porters ran the restaurant and continuing with our special friends, the Ervin family. In addition to the great food, we always enjoy seeing our Metcalfe County friends! Family members who have moved away area are always anxious to go to Sulphur Well when they come home. We appreciate you all!!

I would have to agree with my uncle Bob Winbigler's comment on Nov. 4, 2002. I came across it today! Nothing like Country Ham and Ski Pop! Can't get the Ski Pop up here, so we always have to import it north! I always eat myself silly at your restaurant, since the home cooking is TOO GOOD and delicious!!!

I haven't been to the Lighthouse, but I remember when Porter's opened. I ate there with my grandmother(Katherine "Honey" Seyfrit). Honey lived in the house on the hill across from the restaurant and store. I hope it is still there. We plan on visiting this Spring and will definitly eat at your restaurant.

My brother and some friends introduced us to your establisment last week. We drove 90 miles (each way) to eat there and you gave me some cole slaw to go. We loved it!! They tell us that you have AYCE seafood on Thursday nights, but your web site doesnt say anything about it. If you do, what do you serve?

Me and 14 members of my family ate at your restaurant on Sat. night May 10th to celebrate Mother's Day and we thoroughly enjoyed it! Have been to the Lighthouse a lot and no other place can compare with the food and the service is outstanding!

Many times with just friends and many times with various organizations.
Our most frequent visit was last evening, with The Waterloo Homemakers.
